MY STRUGGLE…

Years after giving my life to Christ, I found myself in a valley. The honeymoon phase was over, and I found myself struggling to praise Him through the storm. I had lost and found my way time and time again.

What could I do differently to break the cycle of backsliding? I loved God. I knew He was real, but I had soon found out that I didn’t know Him personally. I lacked intimacy with God and wasn’t grounded in Him.

I was like leaves on a tree. I fell away from God if Satan blew too hard. As I spent more time with the Lord, my love for Him grew stronger. When trials came, I wasn’t the same. My reaction was different, and the enemy couldn’t move me so swiftly. Of course, there were times where I fell short of the glory, but it became a bit easier to get back up and keep moving forward. I want to share a few tools that may help you grow a stronger relationship with Christ.

MY Change…

I started praying daily in my prayer closet. During this time, I began to study the Bible and pray with its scriptures. I learned what it was to pray without ceasing. As I prayed, I felt the pressing on my heart to create a resource that I really couldn’t find anywhere. At least not in a packaged kit. The Prayer Closet Kit. God placed the idea in me and told me to give birth to it.

There is something special that happens when you intentionally and consistently spend time with God alone. More people need to know, feel and experience what happens here. He is real, and He really wants intimacy with you. If you don’t know where or how to start, this can serve as a resource. You may want to press in deeper into His presence or become more consistent. These tools can apply to any place that you are with God.
